Jaguar Land Rover India (JLR) has slashed the prices of its Range Rover Velar. The auto giant launched the facelift version of the Velar in September 2023 at a price of INR 94.30 lakh (ex-showroom). Now, Land Rover has reduced the price of the car by INR 6.40 lakh, making it more affordable for its customers. After the price cut, the Range Rover Velar is now priced at INR 87.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The Velar SUV is positioned between the Range Rover Sport and Range Rover Evoque in the company’s lineup. The SUV comes in both diesel and petrol options.

The Range Rover Velar has a sculpted bonnet with 'Range Rover' lettering, black pillars, LED headlamps with tweaked DRLs, flared wheel arches, and ORVMs. The Velar comes equipped with features like 360-degree cameras, four-zone climate control, a powered tailgate, powered front seats with heating and ventilation capabilities, a Meridian sound system, air suspension, and Terrain Response 2 off-road modes. The Velar comes with a new set of 20-inch alloy wheels, a new front grille, and a new bumper.

Inside the cabin, the Land Rover Range Rover Velar comes with a new dashboard design along with physical controls, fixed around the new 11.4-inch Pivi Pro touchscreen. This improved interface incorporates a variety of in-car services, such as driving modes and more. The cabin is equipped with elements like an air purifier and a wireless charger.

Powering the Range Rover Velar is a 2.0-litre petrol engine and an optional 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel engine. The 2.0-litre petrol engine churns out 246 bhp and 365 Nm of peak torque, while the diesel engine generates 201 bhp of power and 420 Nm of torque. Both units are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The gearbox sends power to all four wheels.
